Intrakat and the Belgian Parkwind announced their official cooperation for the joint development of offshore wind energy in the Greek seas. With extensive experience in offshore development projects and specialization in local infrastructure projects, the two companies complement each other.
Based in Greece and with a significant international presence, the Intrakat Group, a key member of Intracom Holdings, is a leading player in the construction sector of the country and offers high quality products in a comprehensive portfolio of activities which includes Public Infrastructure Projects, PPP – Concessions, RES – Environmental & development projects of Real Estate.
The Intrakat Group, having dynamically strengthened its activity in Renewable Energy Sources in 2021, currently has a portfolio with a total capacity of more than 1 GW. At the same time, it penetrates the electricity storage stations with the development of 9 licenses.
Parkwind is an independent green energy company that develops, finances and operates offshore wind farms. With four wind farms under operational management in the Belgian North Sea and a fifth currently under construction in Germany, Parkwind will soon have more than 1 GW of power.
This agreement is part of Parkwind’s international expansion strategy and the growing demand for significantly greater offshore wind power development across Europe.
