Chinese automaker Geely, owner of Volvo and Daimler AG, has unveiled the new Geely Icon compact crossover.
The new Geely Icon features a distinctive design and 17- or 18-inch wheels. A special version of the car Geely Icon Spring Limited Edition has received bright orange accents on the body and improved equipment.
Geely Icon received a digital instrument cluster, as well as a large-screen multimedia and entertainment system. The new Geely Icon car offers users support for voice control, Apple Car and Android Auto, stylish interior lighting, all-round cameras, and various driver assistance systems.
The new Geely Icon is built on the BMA platform from Volvo, the dimensions of the car are 4350 x 1810 x 1615 mm with a wheelbase of 2640 mm. The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 177 hp, which is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch robot. It is only available with front wheel drive.
In China, the price starts at $ 14,800, and the Geely Icon Spring Limited Edition is offered for $ 20,000.
