Chinese display manufacturer BOE, which recently surpassed Samsung Display to become the world’s largest smartphone screen supplier, has unveiled a prototype smartphone with a unique screen. Such a smartphone can be folded with the display inward and outward.
The manufacturer used a special design that reduces the load on the display in two extreme positions. BOE claims that such a screen can withstand 200,000 openings and closings without any problems.

Currently, BOE has reportedly already reached the stage of mass production of such displays, which will soon begin to be received by Chinese smartphone manufacturers. So far, BOE has not disclosed the names of companies that will be the first to use such screens in their smartphones.
Analysts say there will be a large number of flexible display smartphones on the market this year from companies like Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and others.
