Microsoft has unveiled the first Xbox Wireless Headset in a long time, now available for pre-order at $ 100 in the US and € 100 in Europe.
The Xbox Wireless Headset is designed for the Xbox Series X or Series S and PC. You can also connect it to your phone at the same time to answer calls during gaming sessions.
The headset has a microphone that can be stowed away when not in use. It is also possible to separately adjust the volume of the game sound and team chat. Three spatial audio standards are supported: Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X. To connect to a PC, you may need a Bluetooth 4.2 (or newer) adapter, the headset connects to the consoles without an adapter.
The Xbox Wireless Headset weighs 312 g. Its battery provides up to 15 hours of use on a single charge. Charging for 30 minutes will add 4 hours to battery life. With the Xbox Accessories app, you can customize advanced headset settings such as EQ and bass boost, auto mute, change the backlight brightness, and more.
