Chery is preparing to release a new low-cost sedan called Cowin Xuandu. This is a rethinking of the Chery Arrizo 7 model, which was produced from 2013 to 2019, including in Russia. At the moment we have photos of the novelty and the first information about its characteristics.
The Cowin Xuandu car will receive a modern design, narrow LED headlights and taillights, a small grille, an interesting bumper with an air intake, and L-shaped daytime running lights. Also in the photographs you can see the sunroof of the car.
The car received a multifunction steering wheel similar to those found in modern Chery crossovers, including the Tiggo 7 Pro model, released on the Russian market last year. Also, the car is equipped with a large-screen multimedia and entertainment system, a climate control unit with physical buttons, as well as a traditional gear lever.
The car will receive a 156 hp SQRE4T15C 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol turbo engine SQRE4T15C, which is also installed in the Tiggo 7 Pro. However, with significantly less weight, the sedan should be more dynamic.
Cowin Xuandu will go on sale in China in the third quarter starting at $ 7,000.
