Anton Herastshenko noted that the Ukrainian army in Kiev is ready, equipped with anti-tank missiles, which have been offered to the country by its foreign allies.
For her part, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar estimated that Russian forces may later arrive in areas just outside Kiev, after the Ukrainian capital and other areas were bombed earlier today.
She added that the Ukrainian army forces defending Kiev on four fronts are facing a numerically superior force, as broadcast by Reuters and relayed by the Athens News Agency.
