Eduardo Sobreira Moraes is identified as one of those responsible for the murder of lawyer Rodrigo Marinho Crespo and was appointed to a position at Alerj (Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro) on February 29, three days after the crime.
On that occasion, Rodrigo was shot in front of the office where he worked, on Avenida Marechal Câmara, in the central region of Rio.
In a publication in the Official State Gazette this past Friday (1st), Eduardo received the position of Assistant in the Heritage Department. The appointment was signed by the president of Alerj, Rodrigo Bacellar, and by the first secretary of the Board of Directors, Rosenverg Reis.
According to information presented by investigators at a press conference, former security guard Eduardo Sobreira Moraes, 47, would have participated in the logistics of the crime by making the cars available and monitoring the victim with PM Leandro Machado da Silva.

The motivation for the crime is still unknown, but the investigation rules out any relationship with the defender's job.
