Investigation that investigated Rodrigo Mussi’s accident is completed and police allege author’s recklessness

The Civil Police of São Paulo concluded the investigation of the accident caused by an app driver who fell asleep at the wheel while transporting former BBB Rodrigo Mussi, on March 31, and who remains hospitalized.

According to information from delegate Júlio César dos Santos Geraldo, there was culpable bodily harm.

“We concluded that there was a culpable bodily injury caused by traffic and that Kaique [motorista] is responsible. This was brought to justice. There was no indictment because it does not fit into crimes of this culpable nature. […] the final report that was presented to the court. They will submit it to the Public Ministry (MP) who can do some things.”

He can denounce Kaique, he can propose a penal transaction, an alternative sentence, a recomposition of damages whatever it is or he can ask for more welfare. He can also ask for archiving. He [Kaique] has no criminal record. He didn’t run away, he presented himself when intimidated, he gave his version, he has an address, he’s not a wanted bandit. The indictment has nothing to do with the authorship, the indictment only exists for willful bodily harm, where there is intent, and there was no intention, he was imprudent, and that does not include a figure of indictment. He [Kaique] is not innocent, he caused the accident, and he caused it culpably. It’s a technical issue,” he said.

Mussi had an accident in São Paulo on the night of Thursday, March 31. During the incident, at the access to the Rio Pinheiros waterfront, in the West Zone of the capital, the former BBB suffered head trauma, in addition to fractures throughout his body. He underwent leg and head surgery.
