The presence of a sub-screen front camera, perhaps, makes it such in the first place: gamers will appreciate it, because they have the entire screen at their disposal without any cutouts. Such a serious cooling system allows you to squeeze all the juice out of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: the performance of the smartphone in AnTuTu reaches 1,100,000 points.
Especially for the Red Magic 7 Pro, the company has developed an additional Red Core 1 chip that continuously monitors the sound, the picture on the screen, the vibration response and the response of the touch layer – all those parameters that are important in the game. The smartphone is also equipped with additional side trigger keys, two loudspeakers and a powerful vibration motor.
Red Magic 7 Pro received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 135 W very fast charging: it takes only 15 minutes to fully charge the smartphone’s battery. At the same time, an adapter with gallium nitride is included in the package, delivering 165 W of power! This can be used to charge gaming laptops.
As for the main camera, it uses sensors with a resolution of 64, 8 (with an ultra-wide-angle lens) and 2 (for macro photography) megapixels. Android 12 is used as the OS, a standard 3.5 mm jack is provided for connecting wired headphones. The thickness of the smartphone is 9.9 mm, weight – 235 grams.
Together with Red Magic 7 Pro, a simpler model debuted – Red Magic 7 without an under-screen camera, with less memory and a 4500 mAh battery with support for 120 W charging (and without a 165 W power supply included).
