iPad Air received the most powerful Apple M1 processor

As part of the spring presentation, Apple showed an update to one of its most popular devices, the iPad Air. Despite not being the highest position in the line, the tablet is now equipped with the same processor as the company’s laptops. Previously, only flagship models with the Pro prefix were honored with this.

Outwardly, the tablet almost did not change – only the colors have changed (this year they are brighter). However, inside the iPad Air has undergone major changes. The device is now powered by the Apple M1 instead of the Apple A-series mobile chipset as it was before. This move allowed the company to double the performance of the tablet and add support for 5G Sub6 technology (the same standard as the iPad mini).

iPad Air also now boasts a flagship 12MP front camera with Center Stage technology. According to Apple, the display of the tablet has also become better, but it still falls short of the level of the company’s top-end tablets. Nevertheless, compliance with the P3 standard is declared, as well as support for HDR.

Interestingly, with all the changes, the price of the tablet has not changed and is $ 599 for the minimum package.
