Lightning on the bottom has replaced the USB Type-C port. Also iPad Mini received support for 5G networks thanks to the new modem. The processor has a built-in Neural Engine chip, which accelerates the execution of tasks requiring machine learning.
A Touch ID sensor is built into the power button, and the audio system now consists of speakers on both the top and bottom – honest stereo is supported. Wi-Fi has been upgraded to version 6 here.
The rear camera is a 12MP sensor with True Tone flash and Smart HDR for improved image quality in poor conditions. The front wide-angle camera also received a 12 megapixel sensor.
