IPC-Fipe: inflation in the city of SP rises 0.33% in the 2nd quadrissemana of October

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures inflation in the city of São Paulo, rose 0.33% in the second four weeks of October, gaining strength from the high of 0.22% seen in the first four weeks of this month, according to data published this Tuesday (18) by the Economic Research Institute Foundation (Fipe).

In the second reading of October, there was acceleration in three of the seven items that make up the IPC-Fipe: Food (from 0.21% in the first four weeks to 0.53% in the second four weeks), Clothing (from 0.37% to 0, 42%) and Education (from 0.16% to 0.18%).

In addition, deflation in Transport cooled (from -1.52% to -0.99%).

On the other hand, in the same comparison, the categories Housing (from 0.36% to 0.21%), Personal Expenses (from 1.38% to 1.34%) and Health (from 1.11 % to 1.10%).
