The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures inflation in the city of São Paulo, rose 0.39% in the third four weeks of October, gaining slight strength from the high of 0.33% observed in the second four weeks of this month, according to data published this Tuesday (25) by the Economic Research Institute Foundation (Fipe).
In the third reading of October, there was acceleration in two of the seven items that make up the IPC-Fipe: Food (from 0.53% in the second four weeks to 0.64% in the third four weeks) and Clothing (from 0.42% to 0. 55%).
In addition, deflation in Transport was less intense (from -0.99% to -0.36%).
On the other hand, in the same comparison, the categories Housing (from 0.21% to 0.12%), Personal Expenses (from 1.34% to 1.06%), Health (from 1.10 % to 1.01%) and Education (from 0.18% to 0.16%).
