The Consumer Price Index (IPC), which measures inflation in the city of São Paulo, rose 0.50% in the second four-week period of November, gaining strength in relation to the 0.41% increase observed in the first four-week period of this month, according to data published this Thursday (17th) by the Economic Research Institute Foundation (Fipe).
In the second reading of November, there was acceleration in four of the seven items that make up the IPC-Fipe: Food (from 0.57% in the first four-week to 0.77% in the second four-week), Transport (from 0.62% to 0. 85%), Health (from 1.10% to 1.26%) and Clothing (from 0.85% to 1.10%).
On the other hand, in the same comparison, the categories Personal Expenses (from 0.58% to 0.50%) and Education (from 0.14% to 0.12%) advanced at a slower pace.
Housing costs, in turn, fell by 0.10% in the second four-week period of this month, repeating the variation of the previous preview.
