In the initial reading this month, there was a deceleration or decline in five of the seven items that make up the IPC-Fipe:
- Housing (up 0.01% in October to a drop of 0.10% in the first four weeks of November);
- Food (up 0.87% in the previous month, up 0.57%);
- Personal Expenses (up 0.68% in October to growth of 0.58%);
- Health (from 1.14% growth to 1.10% growth in the same comparison);
- Education (up 0.17% to an advance of 0.14%).
On the other hand, the Transport categories (up 0.18% in October to an advance of 0.62% in the first four weeks of November); and Apparel (with increases of 0.65% and 0.85%, respectively) accelerated in the same comparison.
