Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed insider information on the upcoming iPhone 13 line of smartphones, which is expected to be unveiled in September this year.
He confirmed that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will feature LTPO OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate and low power consumption. These rumors have appeared on the Web several times in recent months, but Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions have often come true in the past, so there is practically no doubt about the presence of such screens. The company is expected to keep the same display size as in the current lineup, however, the notch at the top of the screen will be smaller.
Kuo said the iPhone 13 lineup will consist of the same four models as the iPhone 12 lineup. All smartphones will feature a Lightning connector and a Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 modem, which offers several improvements over 5G networking.

All four iPhone 13 models will have higher battery capacity than the iPhone 12 thanks to compact designs such as integrating the SIM card slot with the motherboard and thinning some of the Face ID components, analysts said. The larger batteries will make all iPhone 13 models a little heavier, Kuo said.
The iPhone 13 Pro models are expected to feature an updated F / 1.8 ultra wide-angle lens with improved autofocus. Wedbush analysts, citing supply chain sources, say the iPhone 13 line of smartphones will offer users the ability to store data on a 1TB flash drive for the first time.
The analyst also noted that if the iPhone ditches the Lightning connector in the future, it is definitely not in favor of USB-C. Apple could switch to fully wireless charging instead.
