A new study from Mozillion lists the top 20 most anticipated smartphones of the year. Mozillion analyzed Google’s search volumes to identify the new phone models people are most looking forward to seeing this year.
The study found that the most anticipated smartphone of 2022 is the iPhone 14 (1,110,030 searches). Presumably, it will appear in September 2022. The second place, far behind, is occupied by the Samsung Galaxy S22 (518 thousand requests), which will be presented next week.

The Apple iPhone SE 3 ranked third with just over 285,000 global searches last year. Vivo V23 received 195,700 requests worldwide and Xiaomi 12 collected 165,300 requests, these models came in fourth and fifth respectively.
Interestingly, the only foldable phones to make it into the top 20 are the Oppo Find N and Google Pixel Fold, with the Nokia brand taking ninth place with the Nokia X50 smartphone.
