Singapore-based iPollo has announced the launch of two series of miners – iPollo B1 for bitcoin mining and iPollo Darksteel for Swarm, Filecoin and Chia coins.
According to a statement of the company, the iPollo B1 series will feature several models of ASIC miners with an efficiency ranging from 35 W to 55 W at Tx / s. The equipment is built on the latest generation of Darkbird chips developed by Nano Labs. The company specializes in the design of high performance and energy efficient computing chips.
The iPollo Darksteel series will feature devices for creating distributed storage Darksteel S, Darksteel F and Darksteel C. Each model specializes in the extraction of certain coins – Swarm, Filecoin and Chia, respectively. The iPollo range also includes miners for mining ETH and Grin, and the volume of pre-orders for equipment exceeded $ 200 million.
Sales of new equipment will begin in November, however, the delivery dates for the devices have not yet been announced. Also, the company does not provide more detailed characteristics of the new miners.
In August, it was reported that mining equipment will rise in price due to a shortage of semiconductor wafers, from which chips are made.
