Iran announced that reconstruction work is being launched after the Israeli war

One week after the entry into force of the truce that stopped hostilities between Iran and Israel, the Iranian government announced today that rebuilding cities that have been damaged by Israeli attacks is now a top priority. Infrastructure Minister Farzeneh Sandeh told state radio today that the reconstruction process is already ongoing. A loss committee has been set up within the Ministry and a national recovery plan has already been implemented. The country’s vice president Mohammad Reza Arev met with officials of the State Investment Society in discussing the funding of reconstruction work, according to a government statement. Aref referred to Iran’s recovery after the war with Iraq in the 1980s. “We must quickly show that we are capable of rebuilding all fronts in the post -war period,” he said.
