Iran: Complains of “improper involvement” of France – Germany in the occupation of the two Greek tankers

European reactions to the seizure of two Greek-flagged tankers by the Iranian authorities in the Persian Gulf are intensifying. The Iran for its part, denounced the “inappropriate interference” it described by France and Germany, which condemned the “Arrest” by Tehran two Greek tankers in the Gulf.

THEThe Foreign Ministers of Germany and France condemned with their separate announcements the arrest of these Greek ships from Iran and called Tehran to release them along with their crews.

Berlin complained “An unjustified interference in maritime transport” and “A serious violation of international rules”.

Paris, for its part, repeated “Its adherence to the rules of international law protecting the freedom of navigation and safety at sea” and called on Iran to “immediately release crews and ships”.

Hatibzadeh, for his part, denounced the fact that France and Germany were protesting a “legal” arrest, while the same countries were “silent in the face of the illegal arrest (s.s .: from Greece) of a ship carrying an Iranian” oil.

The Guards of the Revolution justified the arrest of the Greek ships citing “Violations” allegedly committedwithout giving further details.
