Iran said today that it has “serious doubts” about Israel’s respect for the June 24, after 12 days of war between the two enemy countries. Israel began on June 13th hostilities with bombings in Iran, which resulted in the country’s armed forces being killed, as well as scientists associated with the Iranian nuclear program. Israel argued that it has acted in order to prevent Iran from gaining a nuclear bomb, an ambition that is categorically rejected by the Iranian leadership, which, however, claims the right to use nuclear energy for political purposes. “We did not start the war, but we responded to the attacker with all our might,” said Iran Abdolrachim Mousavi Armed Forces Chief of Staff, referring to Israel, as Iranian television reported today.
