A fire broke out at an engine oil factory in the industrial city of Mobarakeh in Isfahan province in the central Iranthe semi-official Tasnim news agency reported, escalating concerns that the fire could spread inside the large industrial complex.
“At the moment, the flames extend to a great height and width, while we hope that they will be tackled within the next two hours by the efforts of the firefighting teams”an official of the industrial city told the quoted news agency.
The head of Isfahan’s crisis management agency told Tasnim that there were no casualties, while 20 rescue and firefighting teams have been deployed at the scene of the firein order to avoid further transmission of the fire to other production units.
