We stand in solidarity with Amir and demand the immediate removal of the sentence.”.
Yesterday Monday (12/12), a second person was publicly executed in Iran, who was linked to the protests that have rocked the country for three months.
Human rights organizations estimate that at least 470 protesters have been killed and another 18,000 arrested during mass demonstrations across the country since mid-September.
At least 23 other protesters have been sentenced to death and are awaiting execution, in addition to the two already killed.
