Iran is thinking of buying fighter aircraft from China

After the end of the 12 -day war conflict launched by Israel against the Islamic Republic, Tehran is considering acquiring modern fighter aircraft for its Air Force from China, according to a report by the Edohab newspaper on Tuesday. Specifically, Tehran is interested in the version to export the J-10 (Chengdu) fighter jet (Chengdu), samples of which were involved earlier this year in western and Soviet design fighters in the context of India’s collision with Pakistan. According to the report, a recent visit to the Chinese seaside town of Chingdao made by the Iranian Minister of Defense, as part of the work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (OSS), was intended to discuss the possibility.
