Iran: More than 81,000 killed by COVID-19

The Iran announced yesterday Sunday that the previous 24 hours have been confirmed 5,612 cases tSARS-CoV-2, with all people infected with the new coronavirus in the Islamic Republic to reach them 2.966.363.

At the same time, the deaths of another 122 patients with COVID-19 have raised the pandemic toll above eighty thousand, to 81,063 dead so far since its outbreak in Iran in February 2020, according to official figures.

In the intensive care units (ICU) of Iranian hospitals, 3,769 patients are treated, always according to the Ministry of Health, as broadcast by AMPE.

As for the immunization campaign, until yesterday 4,203,784 people had received at least one dose of their COVID-19 vaccine, of which 619,795 have received both.
