“We have repeatedly stated that MrThe Revolutionary Guards are an official and independent organization, whose role is central to guaranteeing Iran’s security. The steps taken by the European Parliament to label the organization terrorist in a sense are as if Europe is shooting itself in the footAmirabdolakhian commented.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the European Parliament asked the EU to classify the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization, as well accuses them of suppressing protests in Iran and supplying drones to the Russian military.
Widespread protests have erupted in Iran since September the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, who had been arrested by the morality police for not wearing her headscarf properly.
