The Iran once again warned the Israel on any escalation of attacks against Gaza, stating that he will need to intervene, because he “will not be able to sit idly by.”
The foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that “if the Zionist attacks do not stop, the hands of all sides in the region are on the trigger.”
He was also on a visit to Qatar where he discussed “the situation in the Palestinian territories” with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, according to Qatar’s QNA news agency. Yesterday, he met with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who resides in Doha.
“If the attacks of the Zionist regime against the defenseless population of Gaza continue, no one can guarantee the control of the situation and the prospect of an expansion of the conflict,” said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
Furthermore, in an interview he gave, he stated that “Iran cannot stand idly by”, adding that the United States will also be affected in the event of a flare-up in the Middle East region.
