Iran has decided to take “punitive measures” against Greece over the US seizure of Iranian oil off the coast of Greece, according to the semi-official Iranian news agency Nour News.
The agency, which has ties to Iran’s top state security body, did not say exactly what measures Iran plans to take against Athens.
Earlier on Friday, according to Reuters, Iran summoned the Swiss envoy, who is also representing the United States diplomatically and commercially to Tehran, to protest the US authorities’ commitment to a shipment of Iranian oil Russian-owned ship off the coast of Greece, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
