Iran will hold public funerals tomorrow for officers killed in war with Israel

Public funerals will be held tomorrow in Tehran in Iran, which he described as “historical” for high -ranking officers and scientists linked to his nuclear program and killed during the 12 days of the war declared by Israel. The ceremonies will begin at 08:00 (local time, 07:30 in Greece) in the center of the Iranian capital, in the Revolution Square. “There will be a brief ceremony there, then the funeral processions of the witnesses will go (…) to the Square of Freedom”, which is 11 kilometers away, Mohsen Mahmudi, a religious official in the province of Tehran, told state television. “Tomorrow (Saturday) will be a historic day for Islamic Iran and the history of the revolution,” he added that “the funerals of 60 witnesses” would be organized.
