Iran’s President Massoud Pezhekian said today that his government has not handed over any weapons to Russia since he took office in August, as Western countries accuse Tehran of deliveries of ballistic missiles in September. The US and its allies last week claimed that Iran had delivered ballistic missiles to Russia for its war in Ukraine and imposed new sanctions on Moscow and Tehran. Both Russia and Iran have denied these accusations. When asked if Iran delivered missiles to Russia, Pezheskian replied, at the press conference he gave: “It is possible that there was a delivery in the past (…) but I can assure you that after I took office there was no such delivery to Russia ».
