Iran’s nuclear program: Tehran fights with Washington: “Time running out” in nuclear talks

Against the USA turned on Monday (22/8) the representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, stressing that they are “procrastinating” on talks to revive the 2015 nuclear dealwhile also stressing that a prisoner exchange with Washington is not related to these indirect talks to revive the deal.

Speaking at a press conference and referring to Iran’s nuclear program Canaan stated that Tehran wants a sustainable agreement that safeguards its legitimate rights.

“We emphasize that the exchange of prisoners with Washington is a separate issue and has nothing to do with the negotiation process for the revival of the 2015 pact,” he added, addressing reporters, as reported by the Athens News Agency.
