Ireland’s prime minister has appealed to the European Union to review trade relations with Israel after what he called the “disgraceful” approval of a law banning the activities of the UN agency for Palestine refugees in that country. Simon Harris was speaking on the occasion of the visit to Dublin of the future president of the European Council, the Portuguese Antonio Costa, who is expected to take up his duties by the end of the year. “The most important step the European Union can take now is to review trade relations at EU level.
