Actors Mark Ruffalo (Dr. Bruce Banner, Hulk) and Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark, Iron Man) stated that they didn’t quite understand some of their characters’ lines from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
They did several scenes together where they were in labs and talking about physics and science.
“In the Marvel days, anything could change. You and me [Downey], the science guys, we had these long passages about unintelligible jargon, nonsense”, he commented. “We didn’t know what that was, what it meant,” said Ruffalo.
The statement was made in an interview with “Variety” magazine published this Monday (4).
The actors were together in several “Avengers” films. However, there is no forecast for them to return to play the MCU characters in the cinema.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already stated that he should not make new films about the original Avengers.
