Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed a New York Times report that he has requested Tomahawk cruise missiles from the US as part of his recently unveiled “plan for victory” in the war with Russia. “This is information that was confidential” and the issue was discussed “between Ukraine and the White House,” Mr Zelensky told reporters in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. He did not hide his displeasure at the fact that his request for the supply of these missiles was leaked to the press. “How should we receive these messages?
