The new film from RT Features producer of hits such as “Chame Me Pelo Seu Nome” and “I’m Still Here”, titled “Isabel “, began recording in São Paulo. The direction is Gabe Klinger (“Porto”), who also wrote the script alongside Marina Person who plays the protagonist in the film.
In the production, Marina Person plays the title character, an employee of a prestigious restaurant in São Paulo who dreams of opening her own wine bar. The goal is to achieve independence from your boss and strengthen your position among colleagues.
Despite looking for an investor to get the project off the ground, iUnforeseen events arise and the agreement ends up not materializing .
“I wrote ‘Isabel’ without ever meeting Marina. When we finally met, she read the script with a deep connection to the character, and our creative partnership was immediately cemented,” says Gabe Kingler. “During the development of Isabel’s story, we sought inspiration from Marina’s own biography and also from the experiences of several women in the world of Brazilian wines.”
“Isabel” does not yet have a release date.
