The influencer Isabel Veloso 18, told this Sunday night (19), how his breast milk extraction journey . Although she is not yet breastfeeding her child Arthur, who remains hospitalized in the ICU, she stated that she did not give up on her biggest dream in motherhood.
“My journey with breast pumping: Ever since I found out I was going to be a mother, my biggest dream was to breastfeed. I always imagined that special moment with my baby, but the reality is not always as we planned”, began Isabel Veloso.
With cancer since age 15 she highlighted the challenges of extraction, but highlighted that little by little she has managed to make an effort.
“With the birth of my baby, I realized that I would need to face challenges that I never imagined. My baby still can’t breastfeed, but that doesn’t mean I’ve given up. I found strength in expressing milk, even though it required hours of my day, physical and emotional effort”, he declared.
Isabel Veloso continued saying: “Every drop of milk expressed is a victory . It’s my way of nurturing and taking care of my baby, even if it’s not yet the way I dreamed. It’s my way of nurturing and taking care of my baby, even if it’s not yet the way I dreamed.”
“This journey taught me that a mother’s love is made of persistence, effort and total dedication. Even without breastfeeding, the bond between us grows every day. She concluded the message by thanking her lactation consultant.
The influencer’s son completed 20 days of life on Saturday (18) and received a tribute from his father, Lucas Borbas . The baby was born prematurely on December 29, 2024 and has been hospitalized since then to gain weight.
In October 2024, Isabel resumed cancer treatment at five months of pregnancy, after discovering that the lymphoma had grown again.
At 28 weeks pregnant, the influencer shared that the disease had spread, reaching her lungs.
