Influencer Isabel Veloso, 18, spoke on her social media this Sunday (29) about the decision to deliver your first child prematurely motivated by the advancement of his cancer. She is with 32 weeks of gestation .
“It wasn’t my choice to have the baby now and I blamed myself a lot for him being born early, but it’s not my fault. I also can’t want to exaggerate, wait until 40 or 38 weeks and I’m not doing well”, she said. Arthur’s birth is scheduled to take place at 4pm this Sunday.
Isabel also said that it was not her desire to disclose that she was admitted, but the information was leaked by someone inside the hospital.
“I had many moments during pregnancy that [as notícias] they ruined it and I at least wanted that moment to be preserved. My son’s sex was even leaked before […] and it’s something that hurts me a lot, I prefer not to talk about it. People think that because we are on the internet, we have to put up with so much and people have no empathy, especially at a time like this”, said the influencer in a video on social media.
She commented that she is already preparing to have her first child by cesarean section, which is scheduled to start at 4pm this Sunday, saying that she is fasting for the surgery.
Earlier, she published a video showing Arthur’s room in her home. The images show details of the room, which is decorated in light colors and teddy bears. The wall painting has a rainbow, plant branches and birds, “representing nature and life”, described the influencer.
Isabel Veloso had already announced the prediction that the baby would be born prematurely, as she is not in a position to carry the pregnancy to term. In the final stretch of her pregnancy, the influencer was hospitalized due to lung symptoms although she stated that everything is fine with her and her son.
In October this year, Isabel resumed treatment at five months of pregnancy, after discovering that her Hodgkin lymphoma had started to grow again.
She discovered the disease at the age of 15, but had stopped treating herself, became a terminal patient and then palliative.
