Isabel Veloso says her son was born “super healthy” despite his treatment

The influencer Isabel Veloso 18, updated the health status of his son, Arthur who is admitted to the ICU. The baby, the result of his relationship with Lucas Borbas was born prematurely on December 29, 2024, but according to his mother, he came into the world “super healthy”.

“They asked me if Arthur had or has any other issue, besides prematurity, sometimes due to my treatment when I was pregnant. And no, He was born super well, super healthy, you know? I was really surprised by Arthur”, she said.

Although the boy is still hospitalized, Isabel Veloso explained the reason and said that he is progressing well. “Of course, every premature baby has its issues, regarding prematurity, but Arthur is doing really well and is gaining weight,” he added.

Arthur is only in the ICU really to gain weight because he still doesn’t have the weight of the hospital protocol to be discharged. He’s almost there, almost reaching the weight he needs to be,” he said.

She recalled, however, that it was “distressing” that the boy lost weight when he was born. Isabel Veloso once again highlighted the suffering of still seeing her son in the hospital, while she already wanted to be with the baby at home.

Isabel Veloso discovered cancer at age 15

The young woman discovered the disease at the age of 15, but had stopped treating herself, becoming a terminal patient and then palliative. However, in October 2024, Isabel resumed treatment at five months of pregnancy, after discovering that the lymphoma had grown again.

At 28 weeks pregnant, the influencer shared that the disease had spread, reaching her lungs.

“In addition to the mass being larger in my chest and compressing my lungs, I also have nodules in my lungs. Initially, in the report, it was on the left side. On the right side, I have a mild pleural effusion. I hadn’t yet reached that stage where the cancer was in any of the organs, it was in my neck. Now it’s in my lungs. There’s not much to do,” he said at the time.
