The influencer Isabel Veloso 18, opened a question box on Instagram, this Wednesday (13), and was asked if she had ever worked as a CLT before discovering her cancer.
Isabel then replied that she worked for two days in a pharmacy, but was fired after revealing her illness.
“On the second day I reported that I had cancer and that there was no cure (that was when I found out about my diagnosis this year). They sent me away… insinuating that a person like that would not make a profit. It happens”, explained the influencer.
Recently, Isabel discovered that her Hodgkin’s lymphoma tumor was growing again and so she resumed chemotherapy. On her social networks, she shared that the treatment will be carried out weekly and even posted a video while receiving the medication.
At the beginning of this month, she shared that she would resume treatment. The influencer had stopped taking treatments for the cancer she has had since she was 15, becoming a terminal patient — with a life expectancy of six months — and then palliative care.
At the time, she explained that the progression of the cancer does not pose a risk to her life or that of her baby, but, even so, she decided to undergo treatment again.
