Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack on a mosque in Kabul

The jihadist organization Islamic state On Saturday, it claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack on a mosque in the Sakar Dara district of the Afghan capital, Kabul, according to a post on the Telegram website of the “news agency” Nasser, its propaganda organ.

At least 12 people were killed in a mosque blast during Friday prayers, as pilgrims gathered for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, officials said.
