Hate acts against Muslims in Britain have reached their highest level in ten years since the war between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas in Gaza began, according to a report by an anti-racism association released today. In its report Tell MAMA, which records incidents targeting Muslims on British soil, lists a total of 4,971 incidents over almost a year. These Islamophobic acts reported include threats, assaults, hate speech or acts of vandalism, the association points out. Most of these acts, recorded in their majority in the British capital, concern verbal attacks (63%), and other threats (27%).
