ISO 14001 certification was received by EV Greece

The internationally recognized ISO 14001: 2015 certification was recently received by EV Greece, confirming its strong commitment to creating a better and more sustainable work world, through the improvement of its corporate performance in environmental issues, according to a relevant announcement.

The environmental management system of EY Greece is controlled by Bureau Veritas, according to the international standard ISO 14001: 2015. This is the international standard that sets the requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It consists of a set of principles designed to guide organizations towards enhancing their environmental sustainability. The certification demonstrates that a company successfully implements an effective environmental management system, to reduce the environmental footprint of its activities and services.

Among other things, the ISO 14001 standard allows an organization to reduce the environmental impact of its operation, to integrate environmental issues into business management, to strengthen management involvement and active employee engagement, and to improve its corporate credibility.

It is recalled that the global EV organization was one of the first professional service providers in the world, which announced last November that it achieved a negative carbon footprint in the financial year 2021, reducing absolute emissions and, at the same time, compensating and removing more carbon from it. which was broadcast during the year. At the same time, it has set the ambitious goal of achieving a zero carbon balance by 2025.
