Isola dei Famosi 2023: the double retreat, the arrival of Asia Argento and the clarification of Enrico Papi

We’ve understood it for some time now that the most interesting dynamics are those that take place on the sidelines of a reality show, and that’s why the third episode of the new edition ofIsland of the Famous it catches the eye more for what is happening around than for what is unleashed inside. The first to inaugurate the dance a few minutes before the start of the program is Enrico Papi which, achieved by Strip the News which gives him the Tapir d’Oro for the alleged antipathy with Ilary Blasi and for the rumor circulated in recent weeks that he would like him out of theIsland, he decides to break the silence and have his say on the matter. «Do you suffer from not being the conductor?», insists Valerio Staffelli. “No. I didn’t argue with Ilary and they don’t kick me out of the program», is Papi’s clarification who, shortly after, welcomes Ilary’s dig with feigned sportsmanship during the live broadcast of the episode. Beyond what they can say, it is clear that chemistry did not start between the two, and there is nothing wrong with admitting it: the incinerating gaze of the landlady when Papi got up from the armchair and took the envelope with the name of the eliminated from her hands and that arm raised to prevent her inopportune intervention are worth more than a thousand public statements, and we know this .

but theIsland of the Famous also caused talk for another external foray: the landing in Honduras of Asia Argento, who throws herself from the helicopter to motivate her sister Fiore, who is close to emotional collapse for not living the experience to the fullest of her possibilities. “I certainly didn’t come here to judge these poor wretches who don’t eat, don’t sleep and smell like goats,” explains Asia after winning a test of endurance and having scolded her sister. «The violence with which they turn to you is not good, but neither is the victimhood you are bringing out. You want to change group, but remember that you can’t run away from difficulties, you have to face them. You are strong and able to do it.” The encounter between the two is tender, also because at a certain point Asia and Fiore remember together their little sister Anna, who died prematurely, thanks to a photo of the three of them together taken on vacation in Haiti when they were children: «Keep her with you, she will be your guardian angel, as she always has been”, Asia says to Fiore. In short, an unprecedented breath of tenderness but, here too, determined by an external incursion with respect to Honduran dynamics.

However, Honduras does not forgive and, already in the third week, greets two shipwrecked survivors forced to retire for reasons beyond their control: one is Marco Predolin and the other is Claudia Motta. The conductor, who was serving his stay on Playa Sant’Elena alone, explained on social media why he was forced to leave: «I want to clarify that leaving was not my decision, but the production following blood tests which highlighted my unfitness to continue to support forced starvation. I am very sorry that this adventure of mine ended like this, thanks again to everyone, we will see you on Monday in the studio ». Even Motta could not help but abandon theIsland of the Famous: on May 1, in fact, the former Miss World Italy slipped on the rocks hitting her head and arm. «She’s fine and serene, but the doctors’ opinion is that they can’t get her back into the game, so is officially no longer a competitor of theIsland of the Famous»communicates Alvin dalla Palapa.
