ISOMAT continued its upward trajectory in 2021, even though it was the second consecutive year of COVID-19 and lockdowns and a difficult year for the global economy.
The turnover of the ISOMAT Group amounted to 87.6 million euros with an increase of 17.4% compared to 2020 and the parent company in Greece amounted to 69 million euros showing an increase of 21% compared to the previous year. 52.3% of the Group’s turnover came from sales abroad. Despite the significant increase in the Group’s turnover, pre-tax profits fell slightly compared to 2020, due to the continuing large increases in raw materials, packaging materials, transportation costs and energy, part of which ISOMAT absorbed, avoiding the full transfer of these to the market.
The continuous development comes both from the creation of new products and from the emphasis that the Group gives to extroversion.
In order to fulfill its goals, the Group continues its investments dynamically. Thus, in 2021 he made many investments both in Greece and in his two production companies in Romania and Serbia, but also in his trading company in Bulgaria, totaling € 6,180,000.
Specifically, in Greece, in 2021 investments of € 2,000,000 were completed, thus completing the investment plan of the last 4 years with a total budget of € 8,098,111, which concerned the expansion of buildings, production and storage units, new mechanical equipment, modernization system etc. For 2022 and the next 3 years in total, only a new investment program with a total value of 11.2 million euros was approved, for the further modernization of the production and the increase of its capacity.
In Romania, investments of € 1,800,000 were completed in 2021 for the construction of a mortar production unit, new storage facilities and installation of systems, while for 2022 new investments totaling € 5,000,000 have been launched.
In Serbia in 2021 the construction of a new warehouse and other auxiliary spaces was completed, an investment with a total cost of € 2,100,000.
Investments in the amount of € 280,000 were made in Bulgaria for the improvement of the office space and the warehouse.
According to a relevant announcement of ISOMAT:
“The steadily growing course of ISOMAT is mainly due to the people who staff the Group, which currently employs more than 530 employees, of which 357 are employed in the parent company of Greece.

For ISOMAT, Corporate Responsibility is something that is constantly evolving and is the path to a better and more sustainable future, which is now an urgent need.
In this context, in 2021 ISOMAT carried out various actions both for the environment and for the support of various socially vulnerable groups, hospital units, institutions such as the Child Smile and the Children’s Village in Filiros and educational institutions of all levels throughout Greece. territory. In the last 3 years it has supported a total of 93 educational institutions either by sponsoring materials for building upgrades or by donating technological equipment.
“2022 started very promisingly for the Group, despite the serious problems due to the continuing large increase in energy costs, the cost of raw materials and partially their lack”.
