The Israel announced today that cancer patients are not finally on the list of vulnerable people who can take a third dose of coronavirus vaccine, contrary to what the authorities had stated earlier this week.
The Jewish state on Monday began giving a third dose of the vaccine to patients with weakened immune systems, including some cancer patients, who said there was a possibility that patients receiving immunosuppressants “would not develop adequate levels of antibodies after the two doses.”
However, the Ministry of Health eventually backed down from its decision, saying that after studying the data of hundreds of patients from oncology wards, “it is not recommended at this stage to vaccinate” a third time people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

The two laboratories announced on July 8 that they want to soon seek permission for a third installment in the United States and Europe.
