Israel allows Palestinians to return to the north of Gaza this Monday (27)

The army of Israel issued a statement telling the residents of the Gaza Strip that they would be allowed to return to the north of the coastal road at 02h, Brasilia time, and in vehicles on the oriental road of Salahudeen at 4am, also in the Brasília time.

The military warned against the approach of civilians to the positions of the Israeli forces.

“The transfer of militants or weapons by these routes to the north of the Gaza range will be considered a violation of the agreement. Do not cooperate with any terrorist entity that may try to explore them to transfer forbidden weapons or materials, ”they pointed out.

The measure, brokered by Qatar and Egypt, should allow about 650,000 Palestinians displaced in downtown and southern Gaza Strip to return home in the north.

Under the agreement, Israel should have allowed this return on Saturday (25), but the Israeli government stated that Hamas’s failure to deliver a list of those from the liberation hostages was alive or to free Arbel Yehud was a violation of the agreement.

Hamas commented that it delivered to the mediators the necessary information about the list of Israeli hostages that will be released during the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Qatar stated that civilian Arbel Yehud, soldier Agam Berger and another hostage will be released by Hamas before Friday (31).
