Its outgoing prime minister IsraelYair Lapid, expressed through his post on Twitter his condolences to the family of the deceased, underlining that the doctors did everything they could to keep him alive until the last hour.
The victim was seriously injured when bombs exploded at two bus stops on the outskirts of Jerusalem. A 16-year-old boy was killed on the spot and 18 others were taken to hospitals.
Until today there has been no claim of responsibility for the double bombing, which Israeli authorities attributed to a Palestinian extremist organization.
