The US and Israel are broadly on the same page on strategic challenges in the Middle East following a phone call between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden on Wednesday, an Israeli source familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel. The call, to discuss Israel’s retaliation plans against Iran, was the culmination of discussions between US and Israeli officials that have been continuing since Tehran’s October 1 ballistic missile attack, the source said.
