From last month, adolescents aged 12 to 15 can also be vaccinated against covid-19, although very few have rushed to do so. But last week, worried about rising cases in the country’s schools, Bennett called on parents to vaccinate their children.

Today, in fact, the Ministry of Health stressed that the parents, whose children are violating the quarantine, will face fines of 5,000 shekels (approximately 1,200 euros).

The Israeli prime minister also noted that a new pandemic management team would be set up after the government was sworn in later this month.
