An Israeli man who went missing in the United Arab Emirates has been found dead, the prime minister’s office said Benjamin Netanyahu this Sunday (24), denouncing his death as a “heinous anti-Semitic terrorist act”.
Zvi Kogan a rabbi who worked in the country for an Orthodox Jewish group called Chabad, had disappeared last Thursday (21).
“The state of Israel will use all means at its disposal to bring the criminals responsible for his death to justice,” the prime minister’s statement said.
Israeli authorities further reiterated their recommendation against all non-essential travel to the UAE and said that visitors currently in the country should minimize movement and remain in safe areas.
The rabbi was filmed in front of the Kosher supermarket he managed in Dubai just days before his disappearance. Look:
